Blade steels range from 1095 to 2100 to 5160-D2 to S7 to 440C to ATS-3, and to the exotic Crucible CPM Series such as S30V to S90V to 154 CPM to CPM-M4 as well as hand forged Damscus.
With the exception of exotic stainless steel, all D. Hoskins blades are hand forged and heat treated, combining centuries old secrets of bladesmithing with modern techniques and technology. Additionally, the blades of all D. Hoskins knives are carefully flat-bevelled for maximum sharpness and durability.
